WHAT IT IS: Lava La Rue, founder of the NiNE8 Collective and a notable figure in London’s cultural landscape, has collaborated with institutions such as the Tate Modern, British Film Institute, Fender and the BRIT Awards. After making their debut in 2018 with the viral “Widdit” COLORS Berlin session and releasing four critically acclaimed EPs, Lava La Rue are preparing to launch their first full-length album; the summer release will include collaborations with artists from around the world.
