WHAT IT IS: L.A.-based People R Ugly skillfully blend genres, seamlessly combining alternative rock and pop punk with elements of hyper-pop. Since their inception about two years ago, they’ve played 30+ shows throughout SoCal, selling out venues like the Troubadour, Whisky, Peppermint Club, Viper Room and Emo Nite at The Avalon.
