WHAT IT IS: Vermont-raised singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has proved himself to be more than a one-hit-wonder. After dropping his debut album, Busyhead, in 2019, he released his folk-influenced sophomore set, I Was / I Am, last September. He’s since garnered 1.8b+ streams across his catalog and toured with his personal inspiration, James Bay. “Stick Season,” from his project of the same name, represents a massive turning point for Kahan.
