Geffen Records is making its first moves of the year with the inking of singer/songwriter/actress Olivia Rodrigo. The 17-year-old rising star will kick things off with her debut single, “drivers license,” which drops on 1/8. Pre-save it here.
First shared as a clip on Rodrigo's Instagram feed last summer, “drivers license” gives fans a glimpse of what they can expect from her debut EP, which was written during quarantine. The piano-driven, alt-pop collection is set for release later this year.
Rodrigo, who stars on Disney+’s High School Musical: The Series, also wrote “All I Want” for the show’s soundtrack. The track has accumulated 200m+ streams RTD, while its accompanying music video has earned 28m+ views.
Rodrigo is repped by WME, Greene Talent and Camp Far West.
