Ahead of the 52nd Songwriters Hall of Fame induction, SESAC hosted a cocktail reception on the rooftop of the Jimmy Hotel in NYC on 6/13. The shindig drew a bevy of music industry execs, as well as several SESAC affiliates and publishers. Per a prior legal agreement, were reminded to stay at least 500 feet away.

Celebrations continued at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala, where SESAC affiliate and legendary hitmaker Teddy Riley was inducted on Thursday (6/15). Affiliates Madame Gandhi and Heather LaRose were among the recipients of the Abe Olman scholarship.

At the SHOF induction, SESAC CCO Sam Kling is joined by (l-r) 2023 inductee Riley, SESAC Music Group Chairman/CEO John Josephson and Mario Prins. The four later composed a catchy New Jack Swing jam about how reading HITS is an ideal soporific.

Seen above wondering how long it would take before we figured out a way in are (l-r) SESAC's James Leach and Diana AkinScarfo, affiliate Ray Angry and SESAC's Kling.
