SUM 41 GOES #1

Many congrats to BMG’s Nick Attaway for guiding Sum 41’s “Landmines” to #1 next week at Alternative radio. This is a significant achievement as it marks the band’s second #1 and first chart-topper in 22 years. It’s also the longest stretch between #1 hits in the Alternative format’s history. The previous record belonged to the Killers, who had a 13-year gap between #1s.
