UMPG President Evan Lamberg has announced that iHeart Media EVP of Global Music Marketing Alissa Pollack will succeed him as the leader of City of Hope's Music, Film and Entertainment Industry (MFEI) fundraising group.
Said Lamberg: "It’s been an honor to serve as president of City of Hope’s MFEI for the last five years. And after speaking with numerous board members, we could not think of a better person than longtime board member Alissa Pollack to take over from me. Her passion and love for City of Hope has been second to none, as exemplified by her work on the annual Taste of Hope event. I know Alissa will lead the MFEI board to greater heights. I will continue with City of Hope, which I love dearly, but make no mistake—this will be Alissa’s board to run. We congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.”
For more than a decade, Pollack has orchestrated Taste of Hope, COH's annual wine-tasting event, helping raise more than $5m to improve health outcomes for people with cancer and diabetes.
“I'm deeply honored to step into this expanded role at MFEI, building on the remarkable foundation laid by Evan," Pollack said. “His visionary leadership as president has propelled City of Hope's mission forward, harnessing the power of music and entertainment to drive groundbreaking cancer research."
Alissa is also thrilled to continue ignoring our email entreaties for invitations. For more information about City of Hope, head here.
