DUALTONE INKS FUTUREBIRDS

MNRK Music Group’s Dualtone Records has inked indie rockers Futurebirds to a global recording deal.

Based in Athens, Georgia, the seven-piece—Carter King, Daniel Womack, Thomas Johnson, Brannen Miles, Kiffy Myers, Spencer Thomas and Tom Myers—will hit the road Saturday (2/3) for a U.S. tour and plan to drop a new album later this year.

Said Dualtone President Paul Roper, “We at the label have been fans of Futurebirds for a long time. They were even in my Top 5 on Spotify Wrapped this past year! The band is making the best music of their career. I’m excited that our paths finally aligned to partner on this exciting next chapter.”

"The Dualtone team clearly cares about the artists they work with, and we are honored to have their sage wisdom, advice and experience this year in the wave of merciless destruction and utter global domination that shall be our next record,” Futurebirds sang as one.
