A RENOWNED SONG SMITH

RCA Nashville's Nate Smith, who was a contender for this year's ACM Award for New Male Artist, does a bit of classic trade-photo posing with Randy Goodman. The Sony Nashville boss assured Nate that this shot would run somewhere nice, like The Tennessean. Anyhoo, the Paradise, California native's self-titled debut album recently had a strong chart bow and has earned rapturous reviews. Smith made his Stagecoach bow last month and is preparing to hit 40 cities this summer on the road with Thomas Rhett.
