TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Netflix’s latest thriller and Disney/Marvel’s summer blockbuster are getting Shazam users' thumbs wagging for hits of yesteryear, while a U.K. reality show has sparked interest in an obscurity from 2010.

Alicia Keys’ “Where Do We Go From Here” (RCA), an album track from her 2007 smash As I Am, and Etta Bond’s 2019 song “Teleport” (OddChild) benefit from placements in Netflix’s End of the Road.

Thor: Love and Thunder, which was released theatrically in July and has grossed nearly $800m globally, has pumped new life into two ‘80s hard-rock gems following the film’s premiere on Disney+: Guns N’ Roses’ lone #1 single, 1987’s “Sweet Child o’ Mine” (Geffen), and Dio’s “Rainbow in the Dark” (Rhino), from the band's 1983 debut, Holy Diver.

In the U.K., BBC2’s Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing is responsible for the newfound popularity of “For the Rest of Our Lives,” a 2010 release from Babybird’s 10th album, Ex-Maniac.
