Nashville's National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) kicks off its Black Music Month festivities on 6/17 with the Celebration of Legends Benefit Concert honoring Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and the Fisk Jubilee Singers.
Performers and speakers for the event include Vince Gill, Yo Yo, Bobby Brown, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Ruby Amanfu, gospel star Brian Courtney Wilson and trumpeter Christian Scott.
Executive produced by singer/songwriter Eric Roberson, the concert will be streamed on NMAAM’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/thenmaam, and at BlackMusicMonth.com.
