LOVE ROCKS NYC RAISES $3M+ FOR GOD'S LOVE WE DELIVER

The fifth annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert raised more than $3m on Thursday (6/3) for God’s Love We Deliver, which provides medically tailored meals to those with serious illnesses in NYC.

Held at NYC’s Beacon Theatre, Sara Bareilles, Jon Bon Jovi, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr. (pictured) and Billy F Gibbons were among the performers for the event, which was presented by Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation and executive produced by John Varvatos, Greg Williamson and Nicole Rechter.

Hosted by Jeff Garlin, Michael Imperioli and Bernie Williams, with surprise host Bill Murray and special guest Tina Fey, the benefit also honored NYC frontline workers. God’s Love We Deliver President/CEO Karen Pearl paid tribute to frontline workers during the show as well as the organization’s late co-founder, Ganga Stone.

The event was livestreamed via Fans.Live and included more performances from Warren Haynes, Ayron Jones, Emily King, Ledisi, Pedrito Martinez, Tash Neal, Fantastic Negrito, Ivan Neville, Grace Potter, Robert Randolph, Nathaniel Rateliff, Jimmy Vivino and Yola.

The night wrapped with music from the house band, which features Steve Gadd, Shawn Pelton, Eric Krasno, Larry Campbell, Jeff Young and Ricky Peterson. Q104.3's Ken Dashow also served as the evening’s “voice of god.”

Since launching in 2017, Love Rocks NYC has raised over $13m and helped fund more than 1.3m meals to New Yorkers in need.
