FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The first posthumous release from Juice WRLD has taken the iTunes and Apple Music charts by storm this flipover Friday. And it’s not the only Interscope release shooting straight to the upper reaches of the charts.

Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die (Grade A/Interscope) is #1 on both album charts and the song “Conversations” is #1 at Apple Music where 11 of the album’s tracks are in the Top 20. His single with Marshmello, “Come & Go,” is #15 at iTunes songs.

LVRN/Interscope’s Summer Walker is right behind him with her five-song follow-up to Over It, Life on Earth EP: It’s #3 at Apple Music and #4 in sales.

At iTunes albums, Brett Eldredge’s fifth album, Sunday Drive (Warner Nashville) wheels up at #2; Coastin’ from the reggae-influenced alt-rockers Iration rolls into #5; and The Midnight’s Monsters (Counter) clocks in at #6. The Deluxe Edition of The Hu’s The Gereg (Better Noise) is #8.

My Morning Jacket has assembled a collection of songs recorded five or six years ago for The Waterfall II (ATO), which splashes in at #9. Dropped Frames Vol. 1 (Kenjii Kobayashi Productions) from Linkin Park mastermind Mike Shinoda is #10.

Also in the Top 20 are new titles from Static-X, Rufus Wainwright, Margo Price, Ray Wylie Hubbard and The Jayhawks plus Rhino’s new expanded edition of the Grateful Dead’s Workingman’s Dead.

At Apple Music, SahBabii’s Barnacles (Casting Bait) is new at #10.

Two new songs that make reference to the moon top iTunes songs chart: Kid Cudi f/Eminem’s “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady” (Republic) at #1 and BTS’ “Moon” (Big Hit) at #2.
