DOUGLAS RETURNS TO WARNER CHAPPELL

Songwriter/producer Sean Douglas, whose hits include Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man,” Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” and Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty,” has entered into an exclusive, worldwide publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music.

“I’ve known Sean for quite some time, and I’m constantly impressed by the expanding range and constant growth of his talent,” said Warner Chappell Music Co-Chair and CEO Guy Moot. “He has the rare gift of writing songs that transcend genre and time. A true collaborator and natural writer, he’s become a trusted and invaluable partner to so many emerging and legendary stars.”

Based in L.A., Douglas’ first Top 10 was Lovato’s “Heart Attack” in 2013. Most recently, he worked on Lizzo’s “Like a Girl” and “Soulmate,” Sia’s “Original” and Selena Gomez’s “Ring.”

“What I love about being a songwriter is having the freedom to write in a different style every day and to keep growing musically,” Douglas said, singling out Moot, Ryan Press and Katy Wolaver for “going above and beyond to champion my music and create new opportunities for it.”
