U.K. MIDWEEKS: KAISER CHIEFS RETURN

Kaiser Chiefs are new at #2 on today’s U.K. Official Albums midweeks with their seventh album, Duck (Polydor). Over on singles, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “Senorita" (Virgin EMI/Syco) is on course for a third non-consecutive week at the top.

Ed Sheeran is still going strong on albums with his No.6 Collaborations Project (Atlantic) set for a third week at #1.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, ska group The Dualers are on course for their first Top 40 album with Palm Trees and 80 Degrees (Sunbeat) starting at #5, while Icelandic group Of Monsters and Men could score a third consecutive Top 10 album with Fever Dream (Island) at #6.

Rapper NF’s The Search (Universal) starts at #8 and BTS’ video games soundtrack album, BTS World (Big Hit Entertainment), is currently at #9.

Over on singles, AJ Tracey has entered the Top 5 with his self-released “Ladbroke Grove” rising two places to #5. Whitney Houston is set to have her first Top 10 single in 10 years thanks to her posthumous collaboration with Kygo on “Higher Love” (Columbia), which has risen nine places to #6.

Thanks in part to an appearance on reality show Love Island, DJ/producer Joel Corry’s “Sorry” (Asylum) has jumped 22 places to a new peak inside the Top 20 at #16.
