DMB IS BACK WITH ALBUM, SHED TOUR

An already packed June release schedule just got even heavier with the news that Dave Matthews Band’s Come Tomorrow, the group’s first studio album in eight years, will drop on 6/8 via longtime label RCA. Production duties on the set—recorded in Seattle, L.A. and Charlottesville—are split between John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo and Rob Evans.

The striking black-and-white cover art, we’re told, is the work of Béatrice Coron, who creates narrative allegories in silhouette to render archetypal stories.

The release is, of course, timed with DMB’s summer tour; these road warriors set off across the continent 5/18 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Tex., hitting sheds in Chicago (6/29-30), Denver (8/24-25) and the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Wash., (8/31, 9/1-2) before wrapping things up 9/10 at the Hollywood Bowl.
