G.O.O.D. MUSIC MAKES MOVES
Kanye West produced a day yesterday that had everyone talking from start to end, a skill he has mastered to perfection.
The debut of his YeezySeason 4 collection on Roosevelt Island stirred the Fashion Week gossip pot bigtime, but later that evening an announcement the G.O.O.D. Music founder made from the stage at a pop-up show in NYC nearly broke the hip-hop blogosphere: Tyga had been signed to his label.
Tyga was formerly signed to Young Money/Cash Money but released an album independently last year via his Last Kings label called The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, which streamed on Spotify.
And the ramp-up to new music will begin immediately, including a newly-minted partnership with Interscope Records firmly in place and a single being released tonight called “Gucci Snakes,” featuring label mate Desiigner. Plus a video is being shot tomorrow in NYC, with everyone wearing Yeezy Season 4 gear, no doubt.
