Tony Award winner Leslie Odom Jr. will perform a duet with Phil Collins at tonight’s opening ceremonies for the U.S. Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Odom’s native Queens, N.Y. It will be Collins’ first major public performance in six years.
ESPN2 will televise Collins’ performance of “In the Air Tonight.” A Collins compilation from Rhino, The Singles, is being released in mid-October just ahead of the publication of his autobiography, Not Dead Yet: The Memoir.
