Fox's The Passion was the most socially reactive broadcast program on TV this Sunday, with 2.2m+ people in the U.S. viewing one or more of the 133k tweets sent in. And #ThePassionLive became the #1 trending topic in the U.S. and #2 worldwide on Twitter; it also trended on Instagram.
The soundtrack, The Passion: New Orleans (Virgin), has been hovering in the Top 3 at iTunes since Sunday's broadcast, an it's currently in the lead at #1.
And today, Trisha Yearwood is performing "Broken" from the soundtrack on Kelly & Michael. FYI, that song is #1 on the iTunes soundtrack chart, and it's followed by two other Passion songs: "Bring Me to Life" (#2) and "Demons" (#3).
Considering, HITS is widely known as a "career cul-de-sac," we haven't known the meaning of this word "passion" for quite some time now.
Good luck to @TrishaYearwood, @CHRIS_Daughtry, @tylerperry, @DeatonRobert, and all involved with #ThePassionLive tonight!! @FOXTV
