Alabama Shakes' Sound & Color, currently #1 at iTunes, was released today via ATO Records. The follow-up to their Grammy-nominated debut LP looks destined for a chart-topping bow come next Tuesday.
The band, fresh off two highly praised Coachella sets, is set to take the Kimmel outdoor stage tonight, so set those DVRs. If you'd rather experience the magic in person, the next leg of their tour kicks off 5/28 with festival appearances scheduled for Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, Squamish, Mountain Jam & Field Trip.
And if you're super fucking nerdy like us, check out the video below, in which mighty frontwoman Brittany Howard goes behind the scenes for the making of the Sound & Color vinyl.
