RETURN ENGAGEMENT: After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, during which his golf handicap was reduced to single digits and he tied the knot with new wife Rachel, longtime A&R exec Mark Williams is returning to the label fold. The well-respected biz veteran has accepted boss Jimmy Iovine’s offer to “pull him back in,” a la Godfather III, where he will A&R the controversial new M.I.A. album, Maya, for Interscope Geffen A&M, which hits retail in the U.S. July 13. This marks a return for Williams to IGA, where his projects included No Doubt and Gwen Stefani. (6/7p)
