Rock awards for old people

ANGRY MUSIC FROM OLD PEOPLE: Paul McCartney's live version of "Helter Skelter" from Good Evening New York City got Best Rock Solo Vocal Performance, and Neil Young picked up the Best Rock Song trophy for "Angry World," from Le Noise. Incredibly, this is the first Grammy for music Young has ever won; his previous trophy was for some now-forgotten recording package. And on a more inspirational note, septuagenarian Mavis Staples was awarded Best Americana Album for the Jeff Tweedy-produced You Are Not Alone. It was her first Grammy as well, and she thanked Tweedy, who wrote the instant-classic title song, for reintroducing her to another generation of "young adults, the college kids." (3:45)
