Beer, Airborne Toxic Event Bet the House

BET THE HOUSE: A friendly wager between The Airborne Toxic Event lead singer Mikel Jollett and HITS’ Editor in Chief Lenny Beer is heating up as this strike-shortened NBA season comes to a close. The bet concerns their respective favorite teams, the Lakers and the Clippers, with the fan of the team with the losing record at the end of the year forced to wear the uniform of his opposite number. In other words, if the Clippers have more wins, Jollett has to wear a Blake Griffin jersey while on tour. If the Lakers win out, Beer will be forced to don a Kobe uniform top around the office. Either way, we’re going to enjoy it. Maybe we’ll make them both put on Carmelo Anthony’s jersey. (4/17p)
