The Wanted Life

VIEWERS WANTED: U.K. pop hitmakers The Wanted will be the subject of a new reality series for E!, according to an announcement. The Wanted Life (that’s the working title), premiering in June, places the quintet in a Hollywood Hills house and follows their exploits. It’s being produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, SB Productions and Global TV UK and exec-produced by Seacrest, Adam Sher, manager Scooter Braun, Ashley Tabor and Danny Rose. Manager Nano Tissera, from Braun’s stable, will appear on-camera as the band’s wrangler. E! prexy Suzanne Kolb promises “a perfect blend of music, bromance and superstardom chronicling the lives of one of music’s biggest groups as they continue to make their mark on the global stage.” The Wanted will record their third album and prepare for a 2013 tour of the U.S. and Europe during their L.A. stay. Meanwhile, an aggressive pitch for a show that follows an intrepid group of trade-rag editors as they struggle to come up with a lunch order was met with a resounding “Please leave the building or we’ll be forced to call security.” (2/6p)
