Mackall joins CC

IT’S A PARTY: Clear Channel has brought in longtime MTV exec Kevin Mackall as SVP of Visual Branding, which sounds painful but is actually totally humane. He reports to programming chief Tom Poleman and will also work closely with President of Entertainment Enterprises John Sykes. Mackall’s purview encompasses station logos, TV spots, outdoor campaigns and brand packages for CC events like the iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio album-release parties and the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party. Poleman describes Mackall as "our secret weapon behind the visual packages for our marquee events," while Kevin, who previously consulted the company, says he’s "gripped by the palpable energy and movement happening” there, and " join[s] with boundless enthusiasm to be a part of leading what's to come next for the brand."
