TEA-IB tease

TEA TOTALING: In his latest post, I.B. Bad focuses on the battle for 2014 marketshare honors, which has intensified since Monte Lipman's Republic picked up Island and Steve Barnett's CMG snagged Motown as a result of the dissolution of IDJ. While Rob Stringer's Columbia maintains a decent lead in frontline share year-to-date, the overall/TEA standings are stacked tight as a gnat’s tuchus, and that’s true of the latest weekly tally as well, as you can see. The bar graph above would look even more dramatic if our resident artist had added Motown’s share to CMG, as I.B. has done in his calculations. In any case, we have a horse race, people, so place your bets on win, place and show. (4/24a)
