Based in Los Angeles, Nathan will be responsible for discovering, signing and developing artists for the online record label.
"This is traditional A&R, except my staff and I are listening more to music uploaded onto the Web site than submitted demo tapes," said Nathan. "What makes Farmclub.com exceptional is that artists, managers, etc., are attracted here because of the quality of people such as Jimmy, Doug and andy schuon',390,400);">andy schuon',390,400);">Andy Schuon (president of Farmclub.com). That's why I'm here too."
Schuon added, "At the heart of Farmclub.com is finding and exposing new talent. A&R is crucial to us. We could not have enlisted a more experienced and knowledgeable A&R exec than Marc."
Nathan's first signing to Farmclub.com is Dynamite Hack, an Austin, TX, band whose debut album, "Superfast," will be released May 23. The record includes a cover of Eazy E's "Boyz N The Hood" which has been attracting a big buzz.
