LORETTA LYNN'S STILL WOMAN ENOUGH
1/4/21

Country legend Loretta Lynn is kicking off 2021 with the announcement of her 50th studio album, Still Woman Enough. Set for release on 3/19 via Legacy Recordings, the 13-track collection was produced by Lynn’s daughter Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash.

As a celebration of women, the album includes new recordings of Lynn’s classic songs like her first single from 1960 “I'm a Honky Tonk Girl” and a rendition of 1966’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough” with Tanya Tucker, among others.

It also enlists stars like Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood, who are featured on the title track, as well as Margo Price on “One’s on the Way.” Additionally, Lynn brings interpretations of country standards including Hank Williams’ “I Saw the Light” and Carter Family’s “Keep on the Sunny Side,” plus more.

Still Woman Enough was also announced on the 50th anniversary of Lynn’s Coal Miner’s Daughter, which will be celebrated with a reissue on black vinyl by MCA Nashville/UMe on 2/12.

"I am just so thankful to have some of my friends join me on my new album. We girl singers gotta stick together," shared Lynn. "It's amazing how much has happened in the fifty years since 'Coal Miner's Daughter' first came out and I'm extremely grateful to be given a part to play in the history of American music.”
