BMLG CELEBRATES 15 YEARS WITH $150K
9/1/20

Since Scott Borchetta first opened the doors of Big Machine Records on Music Row in 2005, the label has sold over 185m albums globally and taken 137 singles to the top of the charts. In honor of its 15th anniversary, the independent label is celebrating by launching a contest for 501c3 non-profit music schools and organizations.

Supported by Scott and Sandi Borchetta’s Music Has Value Fund, which was created in 2015 to provide financial support to music organizations, 15 recipients will be awarded $10k for a total of $150k in grants for music education non-profits.

“The Big Machine Label Group’s hard work over the past 15 years has paid off,” said BMLG President and CEO/Founder Scott. “We are now using the fruits of our labor to expand our reach and help more people and communities who could use some financial assistance during these hard times.”

“It is important to us to help music education programs in both rural and urban areas,” said Sandi, BMLG’s SVP of Creative. “We want to hear your stories. How are you making a difference to elevate music education? Do you have an innovative idea and plan to reach, connect and teach students music during this difficult pandemic time? What can we do to help support the plan?”
