Epic’s Sack and Dontay hang a 50 spot on Future & Metro Boomin’s "Like That" w/Kendrick Lamar (Boominati/Freebandz/Republic) and take Most Added honors. Team Michael Williams and Open Shift/gamma. put 40 adds on Sexyy Red’s "Get It Sexyy.” And RCA’s Lori G brings in another 15 early adds on Bryson Tiller’s "Whatever She Wants" (TrapSoul), which officially impacts next week and already has 43 stations supporting.

THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

This is my first column since the major restructuring happened. While I understand it is the music business, it still saddens me that a number of my friends are no longer going to be doing what they love. The labels will be even more lean and mean, and our job is still the same. So, as you are reading this column, please keep in mind that it’s still a privilege to work in this industry and be a small part of putting out exciting new music and developing artists.

Lori G and RCA take Chris Brown’s “Sensational” f/Davido & Lojay to #1 this week, which took 16 weeks of hard work and timing. It feels like Brown has been a staple in the format for decades. Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” enters the Top 10 thanks to an increase of 315 spins. The next goal on this is to hit the Top 5. Justin Timberlake’s “Selfish” from his new album, Everything I Thought It Was, is up triple digits and ends the week at #15. He is now gearing up for his upcoming Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which has become the fastest-selling trek of his career and will wind up being his highest-grossing tour to date. Meanwhile, SZA’s “Saturn” (TDE) is off to the races as the R&B star gains 890 spins and leaps 10 spots to #17. And even though they have not officially impacted it, Bryson Tiller’s “Whatever She Wants” (Trapsoul) debuts at #34, gaining 200 spins along the way.

Davey Dee and Republic see Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU” pick up 325 spins and join the Top 10 at #8 this week. They’ve also got The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls” f/JENNIE & Lily-Rose Depp (XO) slides up one spot to #9. Muni Long’s “Made for Me” (Supergiant) adds an impressive 725 spins to her total as she ends the week at #12. This record is quietly one of the biggest records in the format.

Over at Columbia, James White continues to drive Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” (Parkwood) towards the Top 10. She ends the week at #13 and up 350 spins. Jessie Murph’s “Wild Ones” f/Jelly Roll just misses a debut this week but gains 155 spins and cones in at #41.

Dixie Tipton and Team ICLG are impacting GloRilla’s “Yeah Glo!” this week. The track is already perched at #32 on the chart and has some very solid buzz around it as it continues to grow.

Over at Epic, Sackheim and Dontay have two 21 Savage tracks inside the Top 20 as “née-nah” gains 305 spins, good enough to land at #11, while “redrum” adds 320 spins to its total and comes in at #16. Tyla’s “Truth or Dare” (FAX) continues to grow each week. She’s currently up 240 spins and is now at #19.

Michael Williams and the mega/gamma. team see USHER’s “Ruin” hold at #22 this week after gaining 170 spins. Michael says they are also discussing an impact with another USHER track, “Kissing Strangers,” which already impacted at Top 40 radio a few weeks ago. Stay tuned.

And last but certainly not least… how about a newly married Brannon “B Dot” Scales?! The Warner rhythm promo wiz tied the knot with Hannah Margolis in a beautiful ceremony that was attended by PDs and artists alike. Congrats to B Dot and the fam. Currently, him and the Warner team have got Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” holding at #21 and adding 140 spins to his total.

Biggest Increase:
SZA’s “Saturn” (TDE/RCA)
Chris Brown’s “Sensational” f/Davido & Lojay (RCA)
Muni Long’s “Made for Me” (Supergiant/Def Jam)
Travis Scott’s “FE!N” f/Playboi Carti (Cactus Jack/Epic)
Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” (Parkwood/Col Nash/Columbia)

Buzz Records:
Bryson Tiller’s “Whatever She Wants” (Trapsoul/RCA)
Jessie Murph’s “Wild Ones” f/Jelly Roll (Columbia)
GloRilla’s “Yeah Glo!” (CMG/Interscope)
Yeat’s “Breathe” (Field Trip/Capitol)
USHER’s “Ruin” (mega/gamma.)
